When Johnny Comes Marching Home

As U.S. operations in Iraq and Afghanistan continue, large numbers of National Guard troops and Reservists are reentering the labor force following their deployment. This paper explores the challenges that will be faced by tens of thousands of physically, and psychologically, wounded service men and women and their employers when they rejoin the civilian workforce, as well as the implications for the insurance industry, and workers compensation systems in particular.
